What is the SCENE card?

Scotiabank's SCENE Visa card is one of a kind in Canada – it is the only credit card that allows you to earn Scene+ points that can be redeemed for free movies at Cineplex Entertainment theatres. If you love going to the movies, this may be the card for you.

Is scene plus the same as SCENE?

Your Scene+ Membership
If you are not an existing SCENE member: A Scene+ membership will be automatically created for you and your current Scotia Rewards balance will be transferred to your new Scene+ membership at the same value. A Scene+ membership number will be sent to you2.

Where can I redeem SCENE points?

Scene+ points may be earned and redeemed on food and drink (excluding alcoholic beverages) at Cineplex® theatres including concessions, Outtakes®, YoYo's Yogurt Café®, Pizza Pizza®, Poptopia®, Starbucks®, Cineplex VIP™ Lounges and in-seat dining.

What happened to my Scotia Rewards points?

The Scotia Rewards and SCENE loyalty programs have merged to become Scene+. Scotia Rewards points have been phased out, and the Scotiabank travel credit cards will simply earn Scene+ points instead.

How do I redeem my Scotia Rewards points?

You can redeem Scene+ Points for Credit online by signing into your Scotia OnLine account or your Scotiabank Mobile Banking App, or you can log into your Scene+ account at sceneplus.ca or the Scene+ mobile app. Registered trademark of SCENE IP LP, used under license.

To redeem using Apply Points to Travel, there is a minimum of 5,000 points ($50) per transaction, but you can use points at a ratio of 100 points = $1 for any expense, including taxes and fees.

What happened to my SCENE points?

Your SCENE points will not expire unless your account remains unused for a period of 2 years. SCENE is committed to communicating with our members as they reach this 2 year period and ensuring they have sufficient warning before your account is closed.

What are SCENE points in Canada?

In Canada, SCENE is the first and only entertainment loyalty program. It is from a partnership between two big Canadian institutions: Scotiabank and Cineplex Entertainment. Moviegoers are in for a treat since the program allows them to accumulate SCENE points and redeem them for movie tickets.

Every time I sign in to Scene I have to receive a text, why can’t I use my email and password. Instead? This costs me money each time I get a call and is most frustrating. I have no credit card attached to this. I can understand if you are using it for banking but I’m merely a member now because Thrifty’s have switched from Air Miles to Scene points.

Also I am still waiting for my physical scene card. I don’t have a smart phone, only pay as you go.

I just registered my new scene card, and now I am trying to register my wifes card under a new password but I cannot go any further using my same e- mail, the system just tells me to sign in under my name & password, we only have one e- mail address, how do I sign her in seperate from me
