Your username is the unique name that you created when registering for Mobile or Online Banking. It can be between 5 and 76 upper and lower case letters and numbers. If you haven't yet registered for our App, simply download it and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I find my security code for first direct App?

Get a Secure Key
  1. First, you'll need the first direct mobile banking app downloaded on your smartphone.
  2. Once you've logged on, just go to 'Security Settings' in the menu, and select 'Activate Digital Secure Key'.
  3. We'll then take you through the steps to get all set up.

@firstdirecthelp @ozshaz1985 No not necessarily, you just need to use the Current Account Switch Service and if there's no Direct Debits applicable then it doesn't matter. It would sweep over any standing orders and bill payment details if any are listed. - Alison

Chase Bank doesn't use the Current Account Switch Service unfortunately, and the Terms and Conditions to receiving the money incentive is to use the Switch service. You can still open an account with us, but no money incentive will be granted. - Alison
