How much does AAMFT cost?

$146 – are for early professionals who have recently graduated and working towards full licensure or independent practice. This reduced rate is good for 2 years. $90 – are for doctoral students.

What is AAMFT certification?

The AAMFT Clinical Fellow Designation indicates a therapist has completed the rigorous training standards for independent practice of marriage and family therapy and are held to the highest ethical standards.

What is an AAMFT approved supervisor?

AAMFT Approved Supervisor is an MFT who has completed the education, experience and supervision mentoring requirements established by the AAMFT. The Approved Supervisor designation identifies for the MFT community those professionals who have met the AAMFT requirements to provide MFT supervision.

How do you become a clinical member of AAMFT?

If you have the highest level of MFT licensure in marriage and family therapy from a US state, you are eligible for Clinical Fellow. If you have the highest level of mental health licensure in a field other than MFT, you are eligible for our Allied Mental Health Professional category.
