How does advance credit union work?
As a financial not-for-profit co-operative, Advance Credit Union is 'owned' by the 5,000 members who save and borrow with the credit union. Unlike a conventional bank, a Credit Union is run by the people who use it.
Can I check my credit union balance online?
With many credit unions now offering banking apps to complement online banking facilities, it means you can easily and quickly check your balance, transfer funds, and/or apply for a loan - at the touch of a button.
How do I log into credit union?
You will be asked to key in the following information on your application:
- Create a username (numbers or combination of numbers and letters)
- Enter your Credit Union account number.
- Enter your name as it appears on your account.
- Enter your date of birth.
- Enter your contact telephone number.
- Enter your Email address.
Can you top up your credit union loan?
Top up loans are a popular and flexible option offered by numerous credit unions. With the top-up option, you can decide to increase an existing loan. Of course, you will need to be fully up to date with your existing loan repayments.
Can I take my savings out of credit union?
You can usually withdraw money at any time. If your savings account is a 'Notice' account, you'll have to give the credit union a set amount of notice to make a withdrawal. Some credit unions will give you a debit card that you can use at a normal high street cash machine.
