What happened to AlertPay?
The U.S. authorities seized Alertpay.com and Payza.com. Its operators and customers no longer have access to the sites. U.S. individual and business customer funds transacted with Payza were frozen, as a result of U.S. law enforcement agencies concluding that Payza's clients were “largely” made up of criminals.
What is AlertPay account?
AlertPay is an online service that is available to both consumers and merchants. Small business owners who do not have a merchant account can set up an account with AlertPay and accept credit card payments for their online stores.
Is payza still in business?
UPDATE 8/11/2021: Payza has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that it “operated an Internet-based unlicensed money service business that processed more than $250 million in transactions.” Payza's U.S. website is inactive, and the company appears to no longer operate in the United States.
