Is the sense monitor worth it?
Cool device and very accurate at detecting overall energy usage but individual device detection is hit & miss at best. I have had it for 3 months and it helps me monitor my overall home electricity usage in real time. It does an ok job detecting some appliances but a poor job detecting others (more on that below).

To get specifics regarding your energy usage, you only need one tool, really: an electricity usage monitor that tells you exactly how many kWh a device or appliance is drawing. How do I sign up for local weather alerts?
CMAS or WEA
These alerts are sent by the National Weather Service (NWS). To register for it, you need to search for WEA or CMAS in your mobile phone's SMS settings. Another way of registering for it is by dialing ##2627##. However, do note that your phone must be WEA enabled to be able to receive these alerts.
