What is my AOTA membership number?

A: Your member ID number is located on your membership card. You can also obtain your number by logging in with your user name and password.

What is the purpose of AOTA?

We empower occupational therapy practitioners to create solutions for daily living. We believe everyone deserves to maximize their potential and their participation in everyday living, and we are the only organization dedicated to empowering occupational therapy professionals to achieve this shared purpose.

What does AOTA mean?

AOTA means "All Of The Above." The abbreviation AOTA is typically used with the meaning "All Of The Above" when the sender has been offered a number of options and either doesn't want to or can't choose between them.

How much is the AOTA membership?

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is our professional organization. Its aim is to improve the quality of OT, and represent the interests of OT professionals and students in the US. Annual dues are $225/year (OT) and $131/year (OTA), and you can pay monthly, which amortizes the costs.

How old is AOTA?

The AOTA was established in 1917 and is comprised of staff, volunteers, and occupational therapists, who together support the field through advocacy, education, and research.
