What does Ascta stand for?
The Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA) and Swim Australia are the peak body for swimming Coaches, Teachers and Swim Schools in Australia. We have a range of priorities for the further development of our learn-to-swim programs, the swim safety industry and the sport of swimming.
How long does a swimming qualification last?
It is important that you attend regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training because this will enable you to revalidate your qualification at the end of the five years without the need to retake the entire course.
