What happened to my Avios account?

The UK Avios Travel Rewards Programme has now closed, but Avios, the currency, remains. As part of the closure, some of our customers have moved to the British Airways Executive Club. You are still able to collect and spend Avios as a member of the British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, AerClub and Vueling Club.

What is an Avios account?

Join for free and collect reward points - we call them Avios. ... Spend your Avios on flights, hotels, car hire and other travel rewards. The more you fly the more benefits you enjoy. Share accounts with family and friends to earn rewards faster.

Is Avios the same as BA Executive Club?

For many years British Airways has operated both an Executive Club loyalty program as well as an Avios Travel Rewards loyalty program.

How can I check my Avios points?

If you have already registered for Online Services, just log in to see your points balance. For detailed points transactions, go to Membership Rewards Page and click on 'Your points account' and then 'My Points' at the top of the page.

How do I stop my BA Avios points expiring?

How do you stop British Airways Avios from expiring? To stop British Airways Avios from expiring, you just need any sort of activity at least once every 36 months, which could include earning or redeeming Avios. That's ultimately not a huge ask.

How much is my Avios points worth?

How much are Avios Points worth? Each Avios Point is worth between 0.38p when spending them on a one-way standard economy flight and 0.89p when spending them on a First Class return flight. On average each Avios Point is worth 0.045p but it does depend on where you choose to spend them.
