Is it possible to get a refund from British Airways?

Your right to cancel within 24 hours
If you have booked directly with British Airways and you notice a mistake with your booking after you have paid for your ticket(s), you can cancel your flight booking and claim a full refund without penalty, up to 24 hours from when you make the original booking.

Can I use my British Airways voucher on American Airlines?

The good news is that there is outsized value to be had by transferring your points to British Airways' loyalty program. You can then use them to book flights on American Airlines.

Why can't I change my BA booking online?

Amendments cannot currently be made online, however (if eligible) you can request to cancel your booking in exchange for voucher credit online. If you would like to make any other changes, please contact us by telephone. Cancellation and amendment penalties can increase as you get closer to travel.

How do I check my British Airways voucher?

British Airways has advised us that the only two ways to determine the value of your Future Travel Voucher are to:
  1. Look up the value of your original booking it relates to, using the PNR in the voucher email. The voucher value is for the same amount; or.
  2. Call British Airways to ask.

How long does it take for BA to verify documents?

What happens now? It may take us up to six hours to process your documents. You'll be able to check in online as normal if your submission is successful. We'll be in touch if we need more information, so make sure your contact details are correct in Manage My Booking.

How do I change my flight with British Airways?

To change your British Airways flight date and/or time online:
  1. Go to BritishAirways.com.
  2. Click on Manage My Booking (it appears below the booking box)
