Depending on your policy, you'll either have a black box fitted to your car, or you'll record your journeys using our iOS or Android app. Either way, you can can keep track of your journeys, mileage and Driving Style Score on either the app (Better Driver) or online dashboard (New Driver or Private Car Telematics).

If you don't want to continue your policy, we simply deactivate the device so it doesn't record your driving anymore. The black box can stay attached to your car with no problems, or requirement to be removed.
How do you remove the black box from carrots?
But if you want to remove the black box, please take it to a suitable recycling centre. If you'd prefer an engineer to remove the black box for you, please contact us and we can arrange an appointment for you. Removal will be charged at £50. You don't need to return the black box after cancellation.
