Undernet is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network set up in the early 1990s and is now one of the largest of such networks in the world. This international network is estimated to serve more than one million users each week and connects servers in dozens of countries.
How do I register my Undernet Nick?
Since there is no nickname registration on Undernet, nicknames are not owned. Everybody is free to use whatever nickname is available. You can politely ask the person that is using the nick to change it, or wait for that person to disconnect. To avoid this problem in the future, try choosing a unique nickname.
