How do I pay my bills with Deferit?
How does Deferit work? Simply take a picture, select a file, or upload a photo of of your bill to our platform. Choose how much you want to pay and when you want to pay, and we pay that bill for you on your chosen date! You pay it back to us over time in 4 fortnightly payments, with no interest or late fees ever!
Does Deferit pay your bill straight away?
Same-day processing. If submitted before 5pm on business days, deferit will process a bill payment on the same day.
Can I pay someone elses bill with Deferit?
Your Deferit account can only be used for bills. We cannot transfer this balance into any other accounts. If you have any other general bills we can accept (e.g. phone, internet, CTP/rego renewals, insurance, utility etc) we would love to help you out!
Can you pay rent with Deferit?

How long does it take Deferit to pay your bill?
It can take billers a few business days to see a payment. Generally payments made online or via the phone will be recognized within 24 hours. For payments made via check, it can take up to 10 to 15 days for them to be received and processed by your biller.
