How do I log into eDofE?
Go to www.eDofE.org and log into your account. Your username is normally your first name surname, though it can sometimes have a number after it. The first time you log in your password will be your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY (no gaps, dots or slashes).

Can a family friend be a DofE assessor?
A DofE assessor is the person who oversees one of your sections, and writes your Assessor's Report which is submitted as evidence on eDofE. They cannot be a member of your family, but friends may be allowed.
How do I submit DofE?
On completion of your Gold programme, you must complete the Gold Award Form on eDofE. Forms submitted through eDofE will be sent for approval automatically. Printed forms should be sent to your Leader who will sign it and send it to your Licensed Organisation and DofE Regional/ Country office to authorise.
Can your parent be your DofE assessor?
They must be independent. Therefore, they cannot be a member of your family. An Assessor can be anyone who is interested in helping you to achieve, has some knowledge of the activity you are doing and can be available over the time you're doing it.
Does the Duke of Edinburgh Award look good on a CV?
Bronze DofE does not particularly stand out on a CV or Personal Statement. Due to the numbers of students that complete the Bronze Award each year (well over 100,000) it simply doesn't separate you from the rest.
