The CTP helps educators assess content specific, curriculum-based performance alongside reasoning ability and conceptual knowledge.

What is the CTP 5 test?

CTP 5 was developed in 2018. The main difference between this test and its predecessors is that it assesses not only content-based curriculum performance but also has questions with increased complexity and critical thinking skills. Each question is assigned its own DOK (Depth of Knowledge) level.

How long is the ERB test?

@ERBlearn @clanghoff1 Not to avoid the question, but the question of validity is statistical and we simply don't have the data. But we can say, as you've noted, that the practice concerned us enough that we did not renew our bid to provide the ISEE for BPS exam school admissions.

@ERBlearn @clanghoff1 3/3 The ISEE has not been shown to be invalid or unfair for students of color. We just have not had enough data from students of color to declare it statistically devoid of bias. But we're working on it! We're revising ISEE prompts and reviewing exam questions RIGHT NOW.
