How do I update my FOG server?

You can upgrade FOG by simply running the new install script. It will keep all the information in the database intact like your users and passwords, host, images, tasks, etc. It WILL overwrite DHCP settings, TFTP setttings, NFS Settings, etc. So any customizations done to these files will have to be duplicated.

How do I register for host in FOG?

Adding a new host can be done in the hosts section of FOG. Then by clicking on the “Add New Host” button on the left hand menu. At least a hostname and a MAC address must be entered in order to add the host to the FOG database.
