How do I access GCdocs?
There are two ways to access GCdocs offline. You can download a copy of a needed document from GC Docs to your computer. Once you are done working on the document, you will download the updated version from your computer back into GCdocs.
What does GCdocs stand for?
GCdocs is the Government of Canada's solution for meeting the legal and policy requirements for information management of electronic and paper documents and records. It allows for the storage, search, retrieval and lifecycle management of information resources.
Who makes GCdocs?
GCDOCS is the Government of Canada's standard Electronic Document and Records Management Solution (EDRMS) and will be CIC's single corporate repository, replacing Records, Documents and Information Management System (RDIMS) and shared drives.
How do I create a folder in GCdocs?
Go to your profile or group and select the Files tab. Click on New file folder. A window will pop up where you are to provide the following information: Title: the name of the folder that you are creating.
