The preferred method for accessing FAST/GEMS/Self-Service is to log in through the MyUSF Portal using your NetID and password. To access MyUSF and FAST/GEMS/Self-Service go to: https://my.usf.edu/ 1. Enter your NetID and password.

How do I register with GEMS as a service provider?
Application forms can be downloaded from the GEMS website and can also be obtained electronically by sending an email to [email protected]. Interested suppliers are required to complete an application form and email the form as well as the required documentation to [email protected].

How do you nominate a GP gem?
You must nominate a GP, who must be a part of the GEMS network, as your first-line of consultation when you seek medical care. A 30% co-payment applies on all GP claims received from a non-nominated GP. You must choose a hospital from the Emerald Value hospital network for your in-hospital needs.

When should I change GEMS for 2022?
If your option change form is received between 1 January and 10 January 2022, your benefits will be pro-rated, as the new option will be effective from 1 February 2022 and your contributions will be adjusted accordingly. This form must reach GEMS before or on 10 January 2022, or your option will remain the same.
