How do I log into my Gigaclear router?

Open the Linksys App. Log in, then add the Gigaclear powered by Linksys router to your account and the app will take you through the final set up process. How to set up the Linksys App and node: Go to manage WiFi, Log in. The app will offer an option to connect to a router that's not currently on the account.

Is Gigaclear fibre optic?

Broadband speeds. Gigaclear is a highly unusual broadband provider. For one thing, its network is pure fibre. Other broadband providers, such as those on the Openreach network (that's everyone except Virgin Media) offer fibre networks that are fibre optic only as far as the cabinet on the street.

Can BT use Gigaclear fibre?

BT don't use the Gigaclear infrastructure. If you want to switch to fibre you will need to move to Gigaclear.

@MhairiD Sky Q tv boxes will work with most any isp including Gigaclear. You will pay two bills, one for the TV package to Sky and one for the internet connection as you normally cannot buy them in one package.

Does Gigaclear use Openreach?

Gigaclear is a highly unusual broadband provider. For one thing, its network is pure fibre. Other broadband providers, such as those on the Openreach network (that's everyone except Virgin Media) offer fibre networks that are fibre optic only as far as the cabinet on the street.

Can other providers use the Gigaclear network?

Do I have a choice of which service provider I can get my broadband from over the Gigaclear network? Yes, you sure do. Our network is what is known as "Open Access" so any Internet Service Provider (ISP) that wishes to may provide services to residential and business users over our network.

What network does Gigaclear use?

Gigaclear Ltd is principally owned by Infracapital, a leading European infrastructure investor. Our networks are developed through commercial investment and the Government-subsided Broadband Delivery UK programme (BDUK) - enabling speeds of up to 900Mbps.
