How to update your expiry date
- Visit selected go card retailers or Queensland Rail ticket offices (only in South East Queensland) and ask to update your expiry date. Then you can continue to use your go card.
- If more than 255 days have passed since your card expired, you need to buy a new go card to travel.

To check your go card's expiry date visit translink.com.au (registered cards only), call 13 12 30 or visit a selected go card retailer. To change your expiry date visit selected go card retailers. Child and concession go card holders will need to show their concession entitlement card.
Can I use debit card instead of go card?
Adult customers can now use a contactless debit or credit card, smartphone, smart watch and other smart devices linked to Visa, Mastercard or American Express to tap on and off at all G:link stations as part of a customer trial to pay for the same adult fare as a go card.
How do I cancel my go card auto top up?
The credit card holder(s) can request TransLink to terminate auto top-up at any time by notifying TransLink in writing, by calling 13 12 30 or visiting the TransLink website. Where TransLink receives notification to terminate auto top-up, termination will occur within 3 business days of receipt of that notification.
