@InfuseEnergy @jessica03739715 Hi! All of our customers were transferred to NRG in April. As is required by state law, NRG sent notices to all active customers about this transfer 30 days before. Send an email to [email protected] to get the contact info for your new provider.

@InfuseEnergy @lhowex14 @patwood3 @cnsrvtxns4nrg @ERCOT_ISO Yes, we like that idea both from transparency and marketing perspectives. We struggled to make it look clean and the IT was a bit more work than we anticipated. Generally, we rely on customer feedback when we make product changes and we received very few comments on our format.

@InfuseEnergy @NisarForam @CenterPoint Hi, Foram. Not a fraud. @centerpoint measures your usage and reports it to us. And we are required per state law to use the readings they provide us. You can send us an email at [email protected] and we can file a usage dispute with CenterPoint.

@InfuseEnergy @lhowex14 @patwood3 @cnsrvtxns4nrg @ERCOT_ISO Hi, Larry. Our free nights plans are as @patwood3 describes. We charge a daytime energy charge and pass through the daytime TDU charge. We do not charge a nighttime energy charge and do not pass through the nighttime TDU charges.

@InfuseEnergy @Erayce_mad Hi, Daniel. Notices were sent out at the beginning of March by Relint as is required per state law. Reliant agreed to honor all of the contract terms, including the rate and term, so the invoices should look the same as if you had stayed with us.

@InfuseEnergy @NisarForam @CenterPoint Hi, Foram! Infuse Energy isn’t looting anyone. @InfuseEnergy @walton_gm If you are suffering an interruption in electricity service, you will need to contact your local regulated utility to report the outage and to have service restored That would be CenterPoint, Oncor, AEP, or TNMP depending on your location.

@InfuseEnergy @TXsassystylist @oncor As we said, send an email to [email protected] asking for the hourly usage breakout from @Oncor and we can send it to you. Note that most Texans used more power last month due to the cold temperatures even with the blackouts.

@InfuseEnergy @TXsassystylist @ERCOT_ISO No fraud and no price gouging. @InfuseEnergy @FrickeStyle @ERCOT_ISO @oncor Tim, those readings are from @oncor and we are required to use their usage totals. You can check the usage @oncor calculated for you at https://t.co/7VkkdhsALz. If @oncor provides us with an adjusted reading in the future, we will put that adjustment on a future invoice.

@InfuseEnergy @DanaRei81020588 @Mike67B Hi, Dana! First, it doesn’t work that way. If they stay with us or switch to another provider, they still have power delivery from their TDU. Our offer—taken or not—would not, on its own, result in anyone losing power. And second, we never said we were heroes.
2021-02-25 00:00:00
Lamp
@InfuseEnergy @DanaRei81020588 @Mike67B And we did not try to “make” anyone switch. We made an offer that you could choose to accept or not.

Lamp
@InfuseEnergy @DanaRei81020588 @Mike67B Correct. And this is consistent, as well. Since we take the hit and not customers, we were trying to limit how much we would have to absorb on behalf of the customers.

@InfuseEnergy @texas0531 Hi! Send an email to [email protected] and someone can check your account specifically. As for the usage reports, the data we have been receiving from the utilities has been incorrect, so we suspended those notices for now. Should resume soon.

@InfuseEnergy @DanaRei81020588 @GoGriddy True. We were looking to lessen our obligation to the grid and there are other providers who may have been differently equipped to handle it. Those providers continued to enroll people throughout the week.

@InfuseEnergy @Mike67B Hi! The email and the text are consistent. We are not increasing people’s rates to match those insane prices. Variable rates will adjust but not to those crazy levels.

@InfuseEnergy @ShrikantKakara1 Hi! You will need to contact your local regulated utility. Retail providers like Infuse Energy don’t have anything to do with the physical flow of electricity.

@InfuseEnergy @AstrosAnxiety Hi! All due respect, that makes no sense. How much power a retail elec. provider buys has no affect on the supply of power to customers. Customers get power from power plants when power is produced. How much we buy affects what we pay, but has nothing to do w/ the supply.

@InfuseEnergy @BloodTitanTV @oncor We are getting lots of emails and calls like this. Those reports come directly from the utilities. After you get your next invoice, if you think it is wrong, ask us file a usage dispute with the utility on your behalf and we will gladly do so.

@InfuseEnergy @Marvolo5 We do not know how this will affect regulated utility charges in the future. It is too soon to say what the damage is going to be industry-wide.

@InfuseEnergy @GoGriddy But more to the point, by providing fixed rates to our customers, they shift the price risk from them to us. @GoGriddy leaves the price risk with the customer. You see the difference?

@InfuseEnergy Unlike companies like @GoGriddy Infuse provides price protection for our customers. Texas electricity customers did not cause this catastrophic market failure and should not have to pay for it through their electricity bills.

@InfuseEnergy Infuse Energy will not be changing rates of customers who are on variable rate plans to reflect insane current market prices. Customers are not responsible for this market catastrophe and will not be charged for it by us.

@InfuseEnergy Hi, everyone. 1) Everything has gone haywire and this is a major catastrophe state-wide. 2) If you are under contract, your rate will not change. If you are on a variable rate that changes every month, it will change as normal, but nothing related to the current extreme prices.
