How do I check my JP?
JP Public Register
You can find a Justice of the Peace (JP) using the online Public Register. You can search by postcode, name of a JP, day of availability, language spoken and JP registration number. The register lists a JP's location, availability and telephone number.
What documents are required for JP reappointment?
What you need
- your Australian driver licence.
- if you're applying to be a community JP, you'll need to describe the community-based need for your appointment in 2000 words or less.
- if you're applying as part of an employment need, a letter on your employer's letterhead demonstrating the need for your appointment.
