Is LPC still valid?
The Legal Practice Course (LPC) does not expire. Realistically though, after 10 years, employers may not feel that it's recent enough to take that person on for training to become a solicitor, depending on what work they're currently doing.
Can I do the GDL in 2022?
If you started our full-time Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Master of Arts in Law (MA Law) in September 2021, you should be eligible to commence the Bar Practice Course (BPC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC) in September 2022 on successful completion of your course.
Can I still apply for a GDL?
Applications for the GDL law course open around the 1st October for courses starting the following year. This means that, as a future GDL student, you should apply for the course during the final year of your undergraduate studies. There is no GDL application deadline. Applications are dealt with on a rolling basis.
Is LPC LLM a full Masters course?
Though the LPC is a postgraduate course, it is not classed as a Masters qualification. It's also a vocational course, preparing you for practice as a solicitor. Completion of this course will enable you to progress to the final stage of solicitor training: the training contract.
