Can you use Weebly for NHD?
Students must use the NHD Web Portal (found at nhd.weebly.com), to build their websites. Students are NOT to create a site on www.weebly.com, which is the standard Weebly site and is not compatible with NHD website category rules.
How do I log into NHD?
Enter your National History Day | NHD username. Enter the password that accompanies your username.
How do I find my old NHD website?
How can someone view my website? You will need to share the URL with them. The URL/site key is what you will submit for registration but if you want a teacher, parent, etc. to view your website you will need to give them the URL directly. The URL looks something like this: https://site.nhd.org/15262633.
What do you get if you win NHD?
The awards for first, second, and third place at the national level are $1000, $500, and $250, respectively. "Outstanding Entry" awards are also given to two projects from each state: one junior entry and one senior entry. There are also more than a dozen special prizes awarded worth between $250 and $10,000.
Where can I find NHD topics?
Choose something for which good sources are easily available. Judges look for good, reliable, varied sources that you have used for research.
