Who can apply for NHPC?
The candidates must be citizens of India with valid documents to establish their nationality. To be eligible for the post of NHPC Junior Engineer, the candidate must not be more than 30 years of age as on 1st Feb 2022. Certain age relaxations have been provided for candidates belonging to certain categories.
Do NHPC employees get pension?
The NHPC employees are also governed by the Employees Pension Scheme 1995 which provides the benefit of pension for life to the member, on superannuation/retirement and invalidation. It also provides for Widow/windower's pension, children pension or orphan pension payable to the beneficiaries of such members.
