Why is NHS Blood and Transplant phoning me?
This number calls when the NHS has low stocks of blood (specifically your blood type if you've donated before). If they don't get an answer they will call again that day or soon after. If you don't wish to take an extended call or don't wish to make an appointment you can tell them so and they will end the call.
