Oregon Food Bank is no longer accepting individual food donations, but you can create a local food drive and donate food directly to the organizations providing meals in our community.
Are donations to the Oregon Food Bank tax deductible?
All donations to Oregon Food Bank are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. If you make a gift associated with a product, event or service, our development team will provide you with the necessary documentation for tax purposes.
How does a food bank work?
Food is donated
Schools, churches, businesses and individuals donate non-perishable, in-date food to a foodbank. Large collections often take place as part of Harvest Festival celebrations and food is also collected at supermarkets.
