What is the Oriel process?
Oriel is the UK wide portal for recruitment to postgraduate medical, dental, public health, healthcare science and pre-registration pharmacy training. Applicants will use Oriel for all stages of the recruitment process.

Oriel is the UK-wide portal and recruitment system for postgraduate specialty medical, dental and public health training vacancies. Oriel enables applicants to register for training, view vacancies, apply, book interviews and assessment centres and manage offers, all within a single, central location.
How do you use Oriel?
How do I register on Oriel? All applications must be submitted through Oriel (national online application system). You must register for an Oriel account here before you can begin any applications.

- Click on the UK Foundation Programme logo / staff group.
- Select 'Vacancies' from the toolbar across the top of the screen.
How do you get an Oriel account?
If accessing the Oriel system for the first time, you will need to create and set up a new account. This should not take more than five minutes or so. From the main screen first select your staff group, and then 'register' in the top right hand corner.
