How do I check my Oyster photocard balance?
You can find out how much money you've got on an Oyster card at ticket machines by holding your card against the yellow Oyster card reader. Or you can check your balance anytime online if you register your Oyster card and have an account. If you haven't already you can do that on the TfL website.
How do I check my Oyster photocard history?
You can see your journey history by signing into your TfL online account, via the TfL Oyster App or you can request a copy by calling Customer Services on 0343 222 1234 (TfL call charges). You can also use your Oyster card to view your last eight journeys and the transaction details at ticket machines at Tube stations.
How do I get my TfL verification letter?
You will need to verify your date of birth by entering your passport number. Alternatively, you can download a verification letter from your TfL account and take it to a London post office with proof of your age (this can be a passport, European ID card, birth certificate or biometric residency permit).
Do I have to renew my 60+ Oyster card?
Transition to an Older Person's Freedom pass
Once you reach the State Pension Age, the 60+ Oystercard is no longer valid and you will need to obtain the Older Person's Freedom Pass (OPFP).
Is TfL free for over 60s?
You can travel free on TfL services with your Older Person's Freedom Pass from 09:00 weekdays and anytime at weekends and on bank holidays. If you have a Disabled Person's Freedom Pass, you can still travel at any time on our services.
