RentReliefRI provides rental and utility relief payments and internet stipends. Both landlords and tenants may initiate an application for the program. Information from both the tenant and landlord is required to successfully complete an application.

To be approved to receive rental assistance payments, property owners must complete rental assistance paperwork and pass an inspection. While the time required to complete the signing and processing of lease and rental assistance paperwork varies, it typically takes between three-and-six weeks.
Who qualifies for Texas rent relief?
To qualify for Texas Rent Relief, you must have a household income that is no more than 80% of the area median income and attest in writing that someone in your household qualified for unemployment benefits OR someone in your household lost their job or experienced significant financial hardship.
