Why does my Reolink connection keep failing?

The WiFi connection will drop when the signal is too weak. (Please note that IP cameras usually need a stronger WiFi signal than laptops or cellphones.) Solution: Go to Device Settings -> Wifi Settings, and check the WiFi signal bar in Reolink Client to see whether the signal is strong enough.

How do I log into Reolink client?

  1. Find the IP address of your cameras. If you don't know the IP address, you may check the IP address of your device via Reolink Client or on Reolink App.
  2. Log on to your router and forward ports for your cameras.
  3. Input the URL into the web browser and log in to view the security camera live.

Why is my Reolink not connecting to my phone?

Please also reboot the device, and change another router/network if possible. Note: If you fail to log into your device via UID on Reolink App, please switch to another network (switch to 4G or another Wi-Fi) and try it again.

Why does my Reolink camera not connect?

For the mobile app, please check whether it has a firewall or APN settings, and disable the APN to add again. If still fail to add, please try to reboot this camera and your home router network or hard reset this camera and set up from factory status.

In terms of a 5MP spotlight camera, we don't have any plan to make this kind of new camera. You may choose an 8mp spotlight PoE camera or a 5mp wifi spotlight camera as an alternative.

@ReolinkTech @kaystrobach Hi Kay, battery/solar-powered cameras won't work with our NVRs. For non-battery PoE/WiFi IP cameras, they can work as standalone cams or work with NVRs. For add-on cameras included in the security kits, they must work with NVRs. Hope this helps.

With your NVR updated, you will find the Visitor option in the alarm settings. With this option enabled, you will receive notifications when someone presses the doorbell button.
