Can you be scammed on Revolut?
Phishing, like most online scams, refers to an attempt by criminals to access your account through lies, deception, and manipulation. Most often, they pose as legitimate Revolut employees, and may try and trick you into thinking that they're part of our support team.
Why did Revolut send me an authentication code?
We take security very seriously. We have 2-factor authentication for all login attempts. We also have it for all payments, in this case, through a sms verification code, to make your account more secure.
Do Revolut call you?
If we need to call you, we'll always let you know in advance through the app and we'll never call you out of the blue. On a call, we will never: Tell you that your money is in danger or ask you to move money to a "safe account" Give you account details or pressure you to move money to a different account.
