Upon graduating with a RICS accredited degree, it takes a dedicated mind and determined work ethic to complete the additional stages of development that will then propel you to Chartered status. But it's worth it. Chartership is a highly respected level of development in your career.
Who is a qualified member of RICS?
Chartered Member is available on completion of the chartered qualification. You can enrol at any time in your career but must meet one of the following before applying for assessment: Relevant experience and an RICS-accredited degree. 5 years of relevant experience and any bachelor's degree.
Do Chartered Surveyors have to be RICS?
Chartered surveyors are bound by the regulations of the RICS and their firms have to state that they are “Regulated by RICS” and to maintain a Complaint Handling Procedure.
