How do you get the Duke Robertson scholarship?
Eligibility Requirements
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA after the first semester at UNC or Duke.
- Must be enrolled full-time.
- Cannot be a transfer student.
- Only students in their first-year/freshman year of study.
- Current Merit Scholars at Duke are not eligible.

Scholars receive a laptop and have access to three summers of generous funding, as well as support for up to two semesters of study abroad. The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $50,000.

After a selection process that included application review and phone interviews, committees at both universities invited 100 finalists to Durham and Chapel Hill for interviews March 29 - April 1. “The Robertson Scholars are selected from among the very best students who apply to Duke and UNC,” Brodhead said.
