How do I access my ServSafe certificate?
To obtain their certificates, or request one to be sent, students should log on to ServSafe.com and select Download My Certificates. They'll see an option to download their certificates, or request one to be mailed via USPS to them directly for a $10 fee.
Does your ServSafe expire?
California recognizes the ServSafe® certification as valid for five years. However, some company policies will only recognize the certification as valid for three years. We recommend you renew your exam before your certification expires.
Can I take ServSafe on my phone?
Android Version 6 or higher. Phones not recommended.
What is my ServSafe ID?
- If you forgot your user ID, you can go to the Forgot User ID page to have it emailed to you. - If you forgot your password, you can go to the Forgot Password page to reset it.

You can view your exam results online by logging in to ServSafe.com and accessing your dashboard. Then click on the student icon and scroll down to My Exam Scores to select the exam results you want to view.

If you don't know your email address or are unable to reset your password, please contact Customer Care for assistance. We didn't recognize the email address or password you entered. Too many failed login attempts will lock your account. You may try resetting your password if you forgot your password.
