Registering your SmartRent Account
Before you can access the SmartRent app, you will need to set up your SmartRent account. To create this account, check your email inbox for an email with the subject line Welcome to SmartRent! This email will walk you through the account creation process.

SmartRent is an enterprise smart home automation company developing software and hardware that empowers property owners, managers and homebuilders to effectively manage, protect and automate daily operational processes.
How do I change my SmartRent code?
SmartRent App:
Tap on More (for iOS devices) or the three dots in the top left corner (for Android devices). Tap on Settings. Tap on Profile. Tap on the Change Password button on the bottom of the screen.
Is SmartRent secure?
Here are a couple of key steps you can take to ensure access to your home via the SmartRent mobile app is secure and protected. Never share your phone with someone you don't trust. Ensure a passcode or biometrics is used to login to your phone and/or SmartRent mobile app.
How do I connect to SmartRent?
There are two options when connecting your SmartRent hub to your local internet:
- You can connect directly via the provided Ethernet cable that is plugged into the hub. To accomplish this simply plug in the other end of the Ethernet cable into your internet router.
- You can connect over WiFi in the SmartRent mobile app.
