What is SolarWinds NOC view?

The Network Operations Center (NOC) view provides critical statistics for each monitored device in your network. You can use this view to populate a mobile device or a wall-mounted monitor in a technical support center used by IT personnel and network operations groups who manage a network 24 hours a day.

How do I create a NOC view?

Create a NOC view in NPM
  1. Click Settings > All Settings.
  2. In the View group, click Manage Views.
  3. Select the view you want to configure as a NOC view, and click Edit.
  4. On the Customize view page, select Enable NOC View.
  5. If the view consists of multiple tabs, specify the rotation interval.
  6. Click Done & Go to NOC.

How do I create a direct link account in SolarWinds?

To enable a DirectLink account for Orion:
  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console as an administrator.
  2. Click Admin in the top menu bar.
  3. Click Account Manager from the left pane menu, and then click Add.
  4. Type DirectLink as the new User Name.
  5. Type a Password, confirm it, and click Submit.
