What is VIZpin?
The VIZpin Firmware Updater app, available only on Android devices, is a free app that allows users to apply the latest firmware to VP1 door controllers at the touch of a button. Once installed, simply login to the app to view available door controllers in range and their current firmware versions.
How do I use VIZpin?
- Open the VIZpin SMART app.
- Tap “Allow” for the permission requests when prompted.
- Tap “Sign Up”
- Complete all registration fields and click “Register”
- You will receive a text message with a security code.
- Enter the security code in the VIZpin SMART app and tap “Confirm”
How does VIZpin smart work?
When the user comes into range of the VIZpin reader-controller and presses the button, it wirelessly confirms (using Bluetooth) that the key is accurate for that user, reader-controller, and time period, and then unlocks the door. If the Smartkey is not valid for any reason, the door will remain locked!

Description. VIZpin SMART app is a keyring for all of your VIZpin Smartkeys. People can send you Smartkeys anytime, from anywhere that will only work on your Smartphone and can't be copied. Use the widget to access Smartkeys quickly and easily as it automatically displays the doors or gates that are closest in range.
