Make sure:
There aren't any typos in your email address. You've entered your full email address – for example, “[email protected]” instead of “username@gmail” Caps lock is turned off. Your keyboard is in the right language.

How do I log into my Waze account?

Log in to Waze on multiple devices
  1. Open Waze on your other device(s)
  2. Tap Log in.
  3. Enter the email address (or Google account) connected to your Waze account.
  4. Follow the instructions to log in.

How do I recover my Waze account?

I forgot my password
  1. Visit our Password reset page and type in the email address you connected to your Waze account.
  2. Follow the instructions sent to that email's inbox to reset your password.
  3. Open Waze and then tap Log in to use your new password.

How do I sign into Waze using my phone number?

As of June 2020, you can no longer log in to Waze with your phone number. To prepare for this, we asked that users add an email account to Waze and verify it before June. If you didn't do this, you will need to create a new Waze account: Go back to the screen with the Get started button.

Is Waze free?

Waze is a free navigation app for Android and iPhone. It offers community-based traffic (i.e., traffic details from other Waze users), aiming to help you avoid traffic and always be able to take the best route to your destination.

Is Waze better than Google maps?

Both Google Maps and Waze have good parts, as well as their share of issues. Google Maps seems to be more reliable, accurate and has better real-time traffic, whereas Waze has a larger army of fans who think the app is amazing who love its voice prompts feature. However, updates caused issues for both apps.

How do you download Waze?

Waze can be downloaded in the Apple App Store (iPhone & iPad) or the Google Play Store (Android devices) depending on the device you use.
