Can ZipGrade detect cheating?

Because we cannot verify the student, there is nothing stopping a student from entering bogus data in order to view the questions before taking a quiz for real. For the same reason, we cannot limit submissions since a mischievous student could enter another student's name and/or ID number.

How do I open ZipGrade?

Instruct students to go to the Student Portal: https://ZipGrade.com/s/ or https://www.zipgrade.com/student/ Students should enter their assigned Student ID number and Student Access Code in the boxes provided.

How do I see my scores on ZipGrade?

Part II - Reviewing Scans
  1. Step 1 - Navigate to the Quiz you Wish to Grade. Go to the quiz tab inside the application. Click on the quiz you wish to edit.
  2. Step 2 - Click the "Review Papers" Button.
  3. Step 3 - Select Student you Wish to View.
  4. Step 4 - Choose Desired View to Review. You can choose to view the sheet in two ways.

How do I download from ZipGrade?

Quick Start:
  1. Select from multiple answer sheet forms and sizes at ZipGrade.com. Download and print as many copies as you wish.
  2. Within the ZipGrade app, press 'New Quiz'
  3. Press 'Edit 'Key'. Enter your answer key or scan an answer sheet acting as a key.
  4. Press 'Scan Papers' to start scanning papers: ...
  5. Review:

How do you get the answers on ZipGrade?

Press the name of the quiz to go to the quiz detail screen. Press "Edit Key" Press “i” (Apple) or “>” (Android) to the right of the question that should have more than one correct answer. Press “+” (Apple) or “Add Answer” (Android) for each additional answer or combination of answers needed.

Does ZipGrade track cheating?

@ZipGrade @sophgermain When sharing an updated quiz "snapshot", only the quiz's setup, key & tags would be updated. Previously-graded student papers would still exist in that quiz, but their scores would reflect any changes to the shared key. (Email [email protected] for details.)

@ZipGrade @RobSpencer1 The servers are back up & running as expected. (There was a hardware failure on one of the AWS’s servers that required a data restore & rebalance from realtime backups. Redundant failsafes & backups are great!) Again, we are sorry for this inconvenience.
