A: Athletic clearance is a process required by the CIF which includes obtaining a physical from a health practitioner, providing contact and medical information, and signing statements acknowledging the risks of participating in sports, etc.
How do you add sports to athletic clearance?
To add another student for sports/activities, simply start a “New Clearance”. There is no need to create a new account. All of this data will be electronically filed with the athletic department for review. When the student has been cleared for participation, an email notification will be sent.
How long does an athletic clearance last?

A: If you create a clearance that you do not need (duplicate clearances, decided not to play a sport, etc) and the status of the clearance is “uncleared”, you can delete the clearance by clicking on the red “X” to the far right of the clearance.
