Can you view your disclosure online?

The person being given a DBS check (the applicant) can view their certificate using their DBS online account. After logging in, select 'Manage DBS checks', request a one-time passcode and enter the required security information. Your DBS applications will then be shown, and you can view the necessary certificate.

How do I get a DBS check online?

The Submission Process
  1. Select DBS. check option.
  2. Make. payment.
  3. Complete. form.
  4. Verify. ID.
  5. Receive. results.

How long does DBS check take?

If you request a basic DBS check, it will usually take around 14 days for you to receive your certificate. The process for standard or enhanced DBS checks typically takes around eight weeks, and will be managed by your prospective employer. It can take longer than this if: the details given for the check are incorrect.

What documents do I need for a DBS check?

Basic DBS Check
One document of identification, such as a passport or driving licence. One document that verifies your proof of address, which can be a utility bill, bank or credit card statement or driving licence (provided it shows your current address and has not been used as the ID document).

@DBSgovuk @StephanieThorb1 Hi, we have a negotiated Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 60 days in place with the police. Sometimes the police send a check back to us if they need more details. This resets the 60-day SLA. The police have a further 60 consecutive days to carry out their work. Thanks.
