Does awair detect mold?
Awair Element does not detect the presence of mold. However, by tracking Fine Dust (PM2. 5) particles in your air and humidity levels, Awair is able to help warn when mold might be growing. The Awair Home App will alert you as well as provide recommendations for how to avoid mold growth in your space.
How does awair work?
Each element is tracked on the front of the Element as LED lights, and then through color-coded readings in the app. As expected, green is best and red is poor. All of the elements, which include temperature, humidity, CO2, chemicals like VOCs and particulates, are then combined to give you a final score of 0 to 100.
