How much is a BBC pension?
Currently you pay 7.5% of your pensionable salary. This can be varied if both the BBC and Trustees agree, although it cannot go above 7.5% without a change to the Scheme rules. As a New Benefits member your contributions will normally be met through salary sacrifice. This is called 'Smart Pensions'.
Can I cash in my BBC pension?
Can I exchange part of my pension for cash? You can exchange part of your pension for a lump sum cash payment, which is currently paid tax-free by the Scheme. This is known as 'commutation'. The maximum cash you can take is up to 25% of the value of your scale pension benefits including any AVCs.
Can I view my state pension P60 online?
