What is bouncie used for?

The Bouncie device works a lot like other port-based GPS trackers: just plug it in, and it will start to track your vehicle's location. It uses a cellular connection to send trip data to your smartphone via T-Mobile and AT&T's 3G networks, similar to the other GPS vehicle trackers.

Why is my bouncie not working?

While the vehicle is off, remove Bouncie. After 2-3 minutes, reinstall Bouncie. That should reset everything after the next drive. If no lights are glowing inside the device when the vehicle is running then most likely the fuse on the OBD port has blown.

Does bouncie work with Tesla?

Unfortunately, Bouncie does not work in electric vehicles or on motorcyles. For electric vehicles: If you are wondering why, here's a quick explanation: Bouncie detects the engine RPM.

@BouncieApp @KeelinJ Bouncie reports multiple fuel metrics based on what the vehicle provides our device. Some vehicles report both fuel level and consumption. Others report one but not the other. Fill up logging has been a common request, we're working on how we can add it going forward
