Can I still fill out the census online?
If you have an access code, you can no longer use it to access your census. You can still fill out your census on paper. You can contact us to request a paper census questionnaire to be sent in the post.

The Census Act 1920 makes it compulsory for everyone in England and Wales to take part in the census in accordance with the Order and Regulations. The Act makes answering the questions mandatory.

In 2011, it was optional to complete the Census online, but in 2021, anyone who can not do theirs on the internet must request a paper copy to fill in and post. The 'deadline' to complete the Census 2021 passed on Sunday March 21.
