How do I access my CIT email?
You will need an email account to access CIT learning systems. If you don't have an email, you can set up a personal email account with Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo, Mail.com, Gmail or seek assistance from CIT Student Services/CIT Library staff at any CIT location.
What is CIT username?
Your Username will be your CIT number (e.g. CIT123456). When you enrol at CIT you will be sent an email to activate your Microsoft 365 account and set your password.

http://www.myCIT.ie is your one-stop portal for accessing most MTU IT services. From this site, you can now access several existing services within MTU, such as: exam timetables and results; course timetables; Canvas; student email; IT support; MTU SU website; MTU website; and MTU calendar.

What happens if you fail a module CIT?
You will have to be re-assessed in ALL modules you have failed. Generally, you have the option (subject to compliance with module reassessment requirements) of being reassessed in the Autumn. For Autumn 2021, reassessment means submitting course work or doing a repeat exam or possibly a combination of both.
How do I register for repeats CIT?
To register for exams only students must complete the registration form, have it signed by their head of department and return it to the admissions office. Students previously in receipt of a SUSI grant will not be funded for their repeat year except in cases where there are medical circumstances.
How many modules can you compensate CIT?
➢ The rule can only be applied to a certain number of modules: If you are examined in five modules or more in a semester, you may compensate in up to two modules in that semester.
