How do I find my Clearpay Merchant ID?
You can obtain your Clearpay credentials in the Settings > Integrations section of your Clearpay account. If you do not see your merchant account credentials there, please contact Clearpay support team for assistance.
How do I add Clearpay to my website?
To connect Clearpay as a payment provider:
- Go to the Accept Payments tab in your site's dashboard. Tip: Check your business location at the top right. If incorrect, click the drop-down menu to change it.
- Click See More Payment Options.
- Click Connect next to Clearpay.

Does Clearpay check credit?
Does Clearpay check credit history? No. Clearpay orders do not require a credit check, meaning it can be used even if you have a negative credit rating. However, if you're struggling financially, it is not advised that you commit to a bi-weekly spending plan that you might not be able to afford.
How do I pay my Clearpay account?
Clearpay accepts payments from debit and credit cards from Mastercard and Visa which have been issued in your country of residence. When you have an instalment due, we will notify you beforehand so that way you can make sure that there is enough in you account for that instalment and we do the rest.
How many orders can you have with Clearpay?
First time shoppers with Clearpay may only have 1 order approved in the first 24hrs. If you are brand new to Clearpay and trying to use our service multiple times you will be declined. This helps us to keep our service FREE to use for all of our shoppers.
Is Clearpay direct debit?
To make it easy for you to stick to your payment plan, Clearpay provides automatic payments. This means we take you next instalment from your preferred card on the due date.
