- Open your internet browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer)
- Type acquired via DHCP (the most common IP for Devolo routers) in the address bar of your web browser to access the router's web-based user interface.
How do I change my devolo network name?
Select the Networks menu item in the menu location menu. In the row for the SSID devolo WiFi in the network overview table, click the more_vert pull-down menu. Select Change SSID.
How do I install devolo adapter?
You can install it with the Devolo Cockpit app.
- Connect the adapter and write down the serial number.
- If the light blinks red, the adapter is active but not added to your network yet .
- Press the button with the home icon or the button on the side, and hold it for 2 seconds.
- Do the same with the new powerline adapter.
Why has my devolo stopped working?
It can happen that your Devolo powerline adapters stop working the way they're supposed to. For instance, you might lose your Internet connection, or the transfer speed becomes very slow. In most cases, you can resolve this by resetting the powerline adapters. A reset returns the adapters to factory settings.
