How do I submit my meter reading to ESB Energy?

The easiest way to submit a meter reading is:
  1. Log into your online account.
  2. Select 'my meter read' on the left hand side.
  3. then 'update my meter read' on the right hand side.
  4. Or you can use our automated system and simply call us on 0345 60 70 372 and press the number 1.

What is the energy price cap?

The price cap was introduced in January 2019 and is reviewed every 6 months. While it is intended to ensure customers pay a fair price for their energy, it is only a cap on the most expensive tariffs and does not safeguard you against price fluctuations.
